I brought all my tweaks into the 2.0 with additional fixes and improvements - and also some minor finalization to the old 1.2 for those who haven't updated yet to 1.40 - which I hope you will appreciate and hopefully can improve your trucking experience In addition I decided to give a try and add to my shader stack Pascal Gilcher's RTGI (raytracing) which gave a boost to the graphics in terms of lighting, reflections and ambient occlusion.Īs soon as I finalized the 1.2 version, ATS 1.40 beta came out and of course most of the work done on v1.2 for 1.39 didn't work well due to lighting rework done by SCS on 1.40, reason why the 1.2 was basically never released. My intention was also to fix or at least improve some issues with ATS like over-exposure of interior camera at midday, and a lot of texture over-brightness and over-saturation from which the game still suffers even in v1.40. Since the end of December I have been working on a ReShade preset called Skynet's RealLife to improve ATS 1.39 graphics which were actually quite outdated.ĭuring this time I tested and tweaked tens of shaders, ton of back and forth with fine adjustments trying to bring that realism that was missing and which no other graphics mods were able to achieve.
